About the event
As part of its Leaky Homes Roadshow, Energy Action Redhill and Reigate can provide rolls of loft insulation and other energy-efficiency items. This is free for households in council tax bands A-D, thanks to funding from UK Power Networks. (For households in council tax bands E-F loft insulation is subsidised at £10/roll; council tax bands G-I £20/roll.)
The recommended depth of loft insulation is 270mm. If your home currently has less than 170mm then you could be eligible for a loft upgrade. To confirm eligibility, please book a loft check.
Loft checks for properties in and around Caterham will take place on Tuesday 2 July 2024 6pm - 9pm and Friday 5 July 2024 10am - 1pm.
Each loft check will take around 30 minutes and requires access to your loft. Our Energy Champions will highlight other easy energy efficiency measures you can take and provide a free tailored smart pack to support this.
