About the event
We are offering free Loft Checks for all residents in the Cosy Street area (Allingham Road, Priory Road and Eastnor Road) from 8 - 14 June 2026.
Uninsulated homes can lose around 25% of their heat through their roof. The recommended level of loft insulation is 270mm - 300mm. If your home has less than 150mm, then we can provide you with free Knauf loft rolls to improve your insulation. To help with storage, we can also offer loft legs, to raise your existing boarding, or Loft Zone StoreFloor Starter Kits.
What is a Loft Check?
A trained Energy Champion will visit your home. They will inspect your loft to explore the level and condition of existing insulation and to check whether it is suitable for our offer of free loft roll.
